This chair is fantastic; super comfy. I really enjoy rocking in it.

I got the chair pretty fast, and all the screws and tools were included, no issues there. If you've ever assembled something from Ikea, this is similar but quicker and simpler. I'm a 43-year-old guy with back problems, and I had no trouble putting the chair together or moving it around. It's surprisingly light!

Make sure you have enough room on the floor to set this up since the chair legs (are they really legs? 🤷🏻‍♂️) have a unique shape that requires extra space as you rotate it during assembly.

The first time I sat down, it felt a bit like being on a sloped hill. You adjust and think, 'Hmm, this is odd, but I’m alright,' and in just a few minutes, you start to feel supported and comfortable. I weigh 16 stone and stand 6ft tall, and this chair works just fine for me. Expect some wobbling and movement in the shin supports; that’s totally normal and has some give. I freaked out the first time it happened, thinking, 'Oh no, did I break it on day one!?' but it’s all good. It’s super sturdy, and considering I’ve had a slipped disc, this chair has a lot to prove.

From days 2 to 14, I began to feel quite sore. Was it the chair? Sort of. I read a few articles before buying it, and many folks recommend not ditching your old chair right away. Switching between the two for a couple of weeks really helped as my back and shins adjusted to the new setup. I found that sitting with my butt closer to the top of the seat eased the pressure, as did the rocking motion. In those first two weeks, I experienced upper back and shoulder blade pain as my body was getting realigned after years of slouching in my old chair.

After two weeks, I finally got rid of the old chair (well, it’s out of the office at least) because I could tell my shins had adapted to the new sitting style, and my back was getting there too. I’d recommend keeping the old chair around for a bit, but I found myself using it less and less.

I absolutely LOVE this chair! My posture has improved, and my wife has noticed I’m walking less hunched over and carrying myself better. Plus, since I’m not in pain, I can work at my desk for longer periods. I used to look down a lot and slump forward, but not anymore.

I’m really into this and plan to get another one since my wife has her eye on mine! Haha. Awesome product. I hope my next one can be red.. fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

I absolutely adore my Vilno! It's great for my office and also comes in handy during my Guided Meditation sessions on weekends. I'm just waiting for the stand/desk to arrive, but I'm sure it’ll fit perfectly in my meditation space.

I picked this up as a present for my husband after he spotted it online and got curious about its ergonomic perks. He appreciates how the chair encourages good posture. That said, he’s noticed a bit more pressure on his shins than he expected. Plus, he’s experiencing some discomfort in his 'man-parts' (the angle kinda tugs at his scrotum) after sitting for a while. So, he’s been alternating between the Vilno chair and a regular office chair to enjoy the advantages of the Vilno.

I think this chair is pretty good. But man, it really digs into my shins. I'm working on finding a way to sit that eases the pain.

I’m not a fan, the size just doesn’t fit. But the biggest issue is that the return policy on the website’s main page doesn’t reveal everything. Sending this item back could set you back $50. The company doesn’t cover that. I would have never been tricked into this. And seriously, how can you be totally sure about buying online???

This chair adjusts your spine perfectly and prevents the slouching that often occurs with standard office chairs. I’m also a big fan of the rocking feature; it’s quite relaxing!

This chair has totally transformed my desk experience at home. I used to have a static one back in the office, and honestly, this is way more comfy than a regular 'sitting chair'. Disappointing support and this chair has led to significant knee discomfort. It was left out by the curb with a caution about the risk of knee injuries.

Update: you’ve requested additional details - you have the entire email conversation about customer service. You’ve mentioned waiting to see about the knee pain. I reckon you ought to be cautious when it comes to offering medical suggestions.

I’m really pumped about my new chair, but I ran into some trouble putting it together. One of the knee pads wouldn’t screw in tight and ended up being all loose and wobbly. I spent a ton of time trying to get that screw to fit into the pad, going at it again and again to make sure it stayed put. Eventually, it worked out, but now I’m a bit wary about the quality and just hope I don’t face more problems down the line.

Also, I haven’t heard back from the Vilno support team yet, so I’m crossing my fingers that if I need to send it back, it won’t be a hassle.

I placed the wrong wooden peg in the incorrect hole. I reached out to the company for help, asking them to send the pieces I had messed up, and they sent me an entire new chair. In just five days! Incredible. This time, I hired a handyman to put it together for me, and it’s absolutely fabulous. I adore this chair. I meditate on it every morning and evening, and it sends me into a trance state; it’s just gorgeous.
